The mission of Colorado Parks and Wildlife is to perpetuate the wildlife resources of the state, to provide a quality state parks system, and to provide enjoyable and sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities that educate and inspire current and future generations to serve as active stewards of Colorado's natural resources.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has several programs to help fund projects both within CPW and developed or led by outside (non-CPW) personnel or groups. Programs are available to assist landowners with habitat conditions, to help communities build trails or improve fishing opportunities, to work with ranchers to reduce conflicts with big game, and much more. Focus areas, eligibility requirements, matching fund requirements and other aspects vary for each program. We hope we can help make your project to support conservation and recreation in Colorado a reality.

If you are a CPW staff member looking for funding, please visit the CPW Philanthropy at Work Information Document. If you are an outside organization looking for funding, please visit the Grant Programs website to see which opportunities might best suit your request.

We hope we can help make your project to support conservation and recreation in Colorado a reality.
